Women in Beekeeping

Join Us for a “Bees and Blooms” Pottery Workshop!

Looking for a creative way to spend an afternoon? Come get your hands messy and create a functional piece of art!  We are hosting a special hand-building pottery workshop where you’ll craft a one-of-a-kind shallow tray from scratch.

What we’ll create:

Using traditional hand building techniques, you will design a personalized ceramic dish. To make it truly special, we will be:

*Sculpting handmade clay flowers and stamping a honeybee to adorn your tray.

*Adding “melted glass” magic: You will place vibrant stained glass pieces in the bottom of your dish. During the firing process, these melt into a stunning, crackled pool of color, ensuring no two pieces are ever the same.

The Details: The tray is perfectly sized to hold jewelry, keys or your favorite small treasures.

The Process: After the workshop your pieces will be dried and fired in the kiln.

Pickup: Your finished masterpieces will be returned to Overflow Honey for you to collect.

Spaces are limited! Whether you’re a seasoned maker or a total beginner, we’ll guide you through every step of the process. Come create something beautiful that will last a lifetime.

Note: All materials and kiln firing are included in the $15 workshop fee.
