Api-Bioxal is an oxalic acid-based Varroa mite knock-down treatment specifically developed for honey bees. It is officially registered by the USDA and approved by the EPA, ensuring it meets the highest safety and efficacy standards.
This oxalic acid treatment can be used for dribbling (solution), vaporization sublimation method, or spraying on package bees. The product can be stored for up to 5 years.
To dissolve oxalic acid for the dribble method, mix 35g of Api-Bioxal in 1:1 liter of sugar syrup. Dribble 5 ml of the solution onto the bees in each occupied bee space. For the vaporization sublimation method, use 4g of Api-Bioxal per hive. Seal the entrance and cracks in the hive with tape to ensure the treatment is effective.
